Local Self Storage Dubai operates this website and the storage services described on it. Our address is DIP 1 FAB Warehouse Compound, Building 12, Dubai Investment Park First, Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This policy applies to information collected through localselfstorage.ae. It does not cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into an enquiry form. There is no account to create and no login on this site.
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you provide one
- Your location or collection address, if you provide one
- The message you write, including any details about the items you want to store
Your name and phone number are required because we cannot respond to an enquiry without them. Every other field is optional.
Why we collect it
We use the information you send for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry. That includes assessing how much storage space your belongings need, preparing a quotation, and arranging collection if you ask for it.
We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Who can see it
Enquiries are sent by email to the members of our team who handle quotations and bookings.
That email is delivered through our email provider, Hostinger, whose servers process the message in order to deliver it. We do not share your information with any other third party unless we are required to by law.
We may be required to disclose information where a court, regulator or law enforcement authority in the United Arab Emirates lawfully requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own, and there is no advertising or analytics tracking on it at present. That is why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, this section will be updated to name them before they are switched on.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they are useful for answering your enquiry and for our own business records. Where an enquiry becomes a booking, the information forms part of the storage agreement and is kept for as long as that agreement and any related legal or accounting obligation requires.
If you would like your enquiry deleted, contact us and we will remove it from our records, unless we are required to keep it.

This website is served over an encrypted connection, so anything you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Enquiries are delivered to mailboxes protected by the access controls of our email provider.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send passwords, bank details, copies of identity documents or other sensitive information through the enquiry form. If we need anything of that kind for a booking, we will tell you how to send it safely.
Children
This website is intended for adults arranging storage. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
